As a lifelong fan of all kinds of music, from backyard BBQs and simple gatherings, to weddings, graduations, and pool parties — I bring a custom-tailored soundtrack to your event that keeps the energy going.

After decades in the hospitality industry and years as a chef caterer, I'm no stranger to the event planning business. Food and music have always been common threads that connect people from every walk of life. My love of music is just as diverse and multi-cultural as the dishes I served for years.

No longer planning menus, I've switched to curating custom sets and music lists that feel personal and intentional - because they are customized to every event. Just as I did in my hospitality days, I love reading a room, shaping the energy, and creating moments that people remember long after the night is over.

Whether it’s a large event needing an emcee, or an intimate private function where the music should be heard more than the DJ, my goal is simple: keep it chill and relaxed and make it feel effortless, warm, and uniquely yours. Nothing more than playing the music people love - the way they like to hear it.

Simple, Music‑First Pricing

This covers everything needed for a great‑sounding event:

  • Professional DJ
  • 2 Premium speakers for 100+ people
  • Personal Event Consultation
  • Custom playlist prep
  • Setup + teardown included
  • Travel within 25 miles

Additional hours are available at $175/hr. Travel fees may apply for events outside the local area.

My focus is on the music and sound quality. Additional elements such as dance-floor lighting, subs, uplights and other entertainment features are available upon request and at an additional cost.

On certain occasions, depending on availability, slightly lower base rates are an option for smaller, shorter events that do not require extensive travel, song list preparation, or extra lighting and equipment features.

Perfect for acoustic performers, intimate gatherings, showcases, and small events where clean, clear live sound matters.

  • Includes engineer for sound check and performance
  • High‑quality vocal microphone(s)
  • Premium PA system for vocals + guitar/keys
  • Professional mixing for a polished live sound

Pricing typically starts around $300–$400 for a short set (up to 90 minutes), with additional time available at $100/hr. I prefer to work with acoustic acts consisting of no more than 2-3 artists playing wind or stringed instruments, and very small percussion elements. I do not offer PA services for full bands.

I have always loved and dreaded this question at the same time.

I grew up listening to everything. My grandparents playing opera and accordions around the house - my parents bouncing around to smooth jazz, adult contemporary, soul and country - my sisters jamming out to disco and mushy love songs - everyone else I knew listening to folk, classic everything, oldies, rock, metal. If it was on the radio at any point since the 70's I've heard it and probably liked most of it.

I have a pretty strong love for international and classical music of all varieties - and a real soft spot for Irish ballads.

In short - I just like music - in almost all forms. And I like entertaining people with the music they love. I play it all.
But if I had to declare a real love for a particular style that I really like to play - it would be electronic dance music - which is another whole story in and of itself. Feel free to inquire.
If I had any weak area - it would be in songs that just came out yesterday. But I can appreciate anything with a great vocal, beat or groove - no matter when it came out.

Yes. Absolutely. If you need, want or require a hype-guy for your event - you've got the wrong guy.
I'm really just about the music and the sound quality. Sure - I love to do announcements and intros - walkup songs and some of the fun stuff! But if you're looking for a guy who's going to be jumping around and shouting into a microphone all night telling people to get their hands in the air - you should probably keep shopping.
Even though I take what I do very seriously - I'm still into having fun. I'm just pretty quiet and chill unless someone asks me to make some noise.

I bring a completely professional, self-contained sound setup. This includes two premium high-definition speakers tailored for crowds of 100+ people, a professional DJ controller, a mixer on occasion, microphones for announcements/toasts, and all necessary clean wiring, a DJ facade and stand scrims when required. My audio equipment is top of the line RCF PA Speakers - Pioneer DJ Decks - Mackie Mixers - Shure Microphones. And I am constantly curating hi-resolution audio for inclusion in my personal music library.

Popular weekend dates during the peak wedding and graduation seasons fill up quickly. I generally recommend reaching out 3 to 6 months in advance to lock down your date, though I can sometimes accommodate last-minute functions depending on calendar availability.

Yes - and it is a pretty long one. In short - I've worked in audio and broadcasting for more than half of my life. I was helping a friend build his DJ business. He didn't have a lot of money. So I would buy him equipment and have him pay me back 10% of his gigs.
He had just paid off his speakers and picked up a decent controller - and started to book work on a regular basis when he suddenly fell ill and quickly passed away. It was at that point that I made the decision to honor his memory by picking up the torch and continuing his journey for him.

It's sad and kind of personal - but that's one of the main reasons why I do what I do.
